Under the Stars by ~Donna

Hello my peeps! I think the canvas I'm sharing today is one of my favorite to date! I'm sharing a simplified version of the hanging gold stars on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog.

In the photo below you can see the side of the canvas that I covered with my new denim star ribbon from the Denim Ribbons pack from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

In the photo below you can see how I used the Brown Pigment Powder around the edges of the canvas. The pigments have a slight metallic look to them so the edge looks like it's been bronzed. I also made textured dust swirls behind the car with lace from my Lace Ribbons pack from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and some muslin.

The photo below is a close up of the canvas stars that I made by die cutting stars from my Canvas Ribbon using Spellbinders Nesting Stars dies. I adhered 2 stars together with some tulle in the middle to make them puffy and before I adhered the top I added some string so I could hang them. In this picture you can also see the E-Z Stars. The gold stars were made with the Gold Pigment Powder and the white stars were made with my Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powders in Jasmine.

In the photo below you can see the moon that I made from the canvas pennant in my Pennant Set from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®. I drew the moon and painted the detail on one half of the pennant then folded it in half and cut out the moon shape. I adhered the sides of the moon together with tulle in the middle to make it puffy, added string to the top and adhered it closed.

Below is a picture of the simplified hanging gold stars. You can see the Quick Craft Tip video for how to make them on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog.
