Altered Bottle by ~ Misty Russell

Hi! Misty here! Today, I've gone off the page to share an altered bottle,
and a video showing you how I have created it.
The lace ribbons make it so easy to add some "girlie" to the "grunge" base of this project.

Since I first got my hands on the looped ribbon, I've wanted to use it for lacing. At first, I figured I would create the lacing on an altered box or the spine of a journal or book, but when I started working on this I thought it was a perfect place to try it out!

I also really love how this looks like it's made of tin, but in reality it is really a napkin giving the base its texture. The mix of Candle Glow Smooch Spritz and brown Pigment Powder give it a fun antiqued look.

  1. absolutely love this technique and effect!!!

I have some old glass candle holders that can be rejuvenated using this technique.

I always use non-flammable lighting to keep it safe:)

Thank U so much for sharing this video!!!
