Tuesday-ish Tutorials - Spellbinders Die Cut Machines

Hello my peeps! Sorry for the delay in getting this post up. This week I am playing with 2 of Spellbinders die cut machines; The Grand Calibur & The Artisan Explorer. I will show you the benefits for each machine and show you a bit of how they are different.

You can watch this week's video HERE.

I ended up with a TON of die cut goodies by the time I was done and I made the layout below.

The large flower is die cut from Want2Scrap cardboard using my Bitty Blossoms die.

My Sprightly Sprockets can be die cut from cardboard using either machine.

The Grand Calibur's large plates allow you to make a TON of die cuts at once. I always use the Grand Calibur when I'm making lots of flowers.

The denim and cheesecloth bows are from last week's tutorial on the Bow-it-All.

I used the negative space circles from the inside of the Sprightly Sprockets on this layout as well.

Supplies used on layout:
Spellbinders dies: Bitty Blossoms, Carnation Creations, Grand Peony Creations & Sprightly Sprockets
GCD Studios Papers: Family Jeans, Basics pad
Want2Scrap: 8x10 Cardboard
Bazzil Basics: Denim Cardstock
Clearsnap: Smooch Spritz
BlueGeneBaby Etsy: Denim Bows, Denim Hem
Zutter: Distrezz-it-All & Bow-it-All
Silhouette: Playful & "heart" you cut files
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D Dodz & Crafty Power Tape

The prize this week is a Spellbinders Nestabilities die set.

Use Rafflecopter to enter to win. The winner will be announced on THIS blog post next Tuesday.

Thanks for stopping by! Smooches ~D~

  5. I have been struggling with wanting to buy a machine. I have a circuit and a silouhette and I still can't make the wonderful goodies you made. I live on a fixed income and hope to wish for one for Christmas so I ask which one would you say I should wish for? I love the page and all the dies on it.
