Creative Team Member, Tracey Sabella, has created a set of projects featuring my new Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products. Today she's sharing her girlie grunge wedding card.
Hi everyone, it's Tracey here to share the first of a set of projects I created to be displayed at the CHA MEGA Show 2016. You will see a wedding theme among my projects.
First up is this congratulations card that would be appropriate for a wedding or even a special anniversary. I've handcrafted the flowers using Donna's new Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Girlie Grunge Gauze and Twine. If you look closely you'll also see her new Girlie Grunge Tissue Tape as well as Silver Pigment Powder on her E-Z Stars.
Now for some close-ups and details
Here's a close-up of my Twine Flowers created with Donna's NEW Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Girlie Grunge Twine layered with Wispy Gauze Flowers featuring her NEW Girlie Grunge Gauze. I've also used Donna's Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies to created these sweet paper roses.
I dabbed the chipboard flourishes with Donna's Clearsnap Emboss Gloss and sprinkled on her Jasmine Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder. I heat set and in places overheated just a bit to darken and add grungy texture.
I tucked in snippets of Donna's NEW Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Girlie Grunge Tissue Tape. I adore how this birch Tissue Tape is a little transparent so you can see the patterns and colors of the paper below. The sentiment uses Donna's Mix'd Media Inx two ways, by stamping the sentiment in black while rubbing the edges with Honey.
There are so many ways to "“Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside” with Donna's Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® E-Z Stars. To achieve this iridescent silver effect, I simple sprinkled very lightly with Donna's Clearsnap Sugar Shimmer Twinkle Dust Glitter so that there was still plenty of tackiness left on them, then dusted with her NEW Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Silver Pigment Powder. Don't you just adore how these turned out?
At the bottom of the card you can see a couple of Donna's 2015 Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® releases where I tucked in her Lace Ribbons and Texture Ribbons (Burlap).
Of course I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products to adhere the elements and layers. Fabric flowers can be tricky to adhere, but Donna's Dodz™ XL are perfect to achieve a secure hold.
