Adventure Awaits Mini Album by ~ DeeDee Catron

Hello Hello friends!! I'm so excited to be here on the Donna Salazar Designs blog today! My first official post and I am SO SUPER ECSTATIC to be here sharing some inspiration with you. I kind of feel like we should JUMP right in. So onto my first project:

A MINI ALBUM!! :) :) My Sister is having a baby very soon, and I wanted to send a little something for her to show some encouragement and just let her know she can rely on me for things. Now.. the inside is a little private, so I'll only really be showing sneak peeks, but they're enough, trust me! :D The entire album is made from 7 Dots Studio's Nature Walk collection mixed with Donna Salazar's Humor Cards for Clearsnap and the awesome Mix'd Media Stax 2 for GCD Studios. 

I took the face of the card and distressed it with bot Mix'd  Media Inx and the Zutter Distrezz-it-all. A bit o' gesso, stamping, ink and layering and the cover was done! 

The background for this page was created with a mask, gesso and Donna's Mix'd Media CHOX ink which has the best pad for scraping across raised surfaces. The wish comes from her Mix'd Media Stax2 paper with dictionary print.

Here is a good photo of the Spellbinders Creative Pages dies in use. I used the smallest one to create a pocket page where It ucked some images of my sister and I. The stamp was stamped in Midnight CHOX and used without a block to create the uneven grungy look.
