Embellished Notebook by ~ Elena Olinevich

Hi everyone! I decided to embellish  my notebook cover and surely used my favourite embellishments: flowers, denim pieces and mists.

It is not very usual for me to create such kind of projects, but what I have discovered that it is a great way to use some of your scraps and put all the pretty thing together.
Moreover it is so important while I am watching this notebook every day on my table and it keeps all my artsy and scrapbook plans inside.

I started with the corrugated board and covered it with the gesso. After that I added chipboard gears on it, primed them and misted with Smooch.
Denim was that kind of fabric that brought more texture and a touch of something grungy.

Also I added some scraps of printed vocabulary and while placing them I paid attention to what is printed on them, so I have chosen some words that made a great sense for me on this cover.

The flowers were cut from Natural Beauty Collection papers. By adding some pearls and lace, here you are ready with something special, just for yourself.
What are your favourites? Use them on your next project and enjoy the result.

Thank you for stopping by today
