Hi everybody! Helena here to share some inspiration with you today!
Decorating candles is easy, fun and perfect to make as home decor, gift or why not have fun with the kids - my darling daughter loves to make these and give them away. They are always very much appreciated!
I have used papers from GCD Studios and Donna's Family Jeans collection (Family Notebook B). I first cut a strip, misted it with Smooch Spritz, Mixed Berries, and then glued it around the candle.
I then cut the word "Home" from the 6x6 paper pad image sheet and glued it onto the paper strip.
I made two flowers using Spellbinders and Donna's Carnation Creations dies (the two smallest sizes). I misted the flowers with Smooch Spritz Mixed Berries and then painted the edges with a bit of white gesso.
Finally I painted four small swirls from Want2Scrap and Donna's with white gesso, misted them with Smooch Spritz Mixed Berries and glued them underneath the flowers.
Easy project, but be careful when you light your candles and don't let them burn too far down when you have decorated them with paper! It's safest to always blow out candles when you leave a room!
Thanks for stopping by today!
