Hi there, everyone. Elena Olinevich here to share with you my first video project I made as a part of Donna Salazar Guest Design Team. I have been thinking how should I start with my debut, and being more a Layout Girl I decided to surprise you with a card.
Yes, I do like cards and I do like to receive them. Moreover when they are with some mixed media tips. So today I want to share a Girlie Mixed Media Card.
Lots of texture, lots of embellishments and different mediums.
I used 8x10 Corrugated Cardboard from Want2Scrap which is perfect for the background as well as for gesso, inks and paints.
My choice for the papers was not random, as I wanted some vintage and grungy look at the same time, that is why I used the Fun and Funky Collection, 6x6 paper pad.
Also I added some misting with Smooch Spritz, and embellished it with the flower made of Spellbinders Dies, Want2Scrap Bling and Chipboard Alpha.
I have prepared a video tutorial for you on how I created the background for my card, featuring some distressing tips. It's quite easy to recreate and I hope you will enjoy it.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. You are welcome to visit my blog and for more tutorials please check my YouTube Channel

ReplyDeleteбезумно понравился процесс создания открыточки! много идей взяла для себя: то, как ты рвала фоновый лист, а потом этими оборвышами обклеивала рамочку! это супер! цветок шикарный! в сочетании с джинсом это великолепно!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card...I liked watching you cut out pieces of the background. You make me believe I could use a craft knife. I love all the embellishments you added..the flower is stunning.
